Called Mostly Higher

ABILENE —(Feb. 1)— Feeder steers and heifers sold $1-3 higher, slaughter cows and bulls $2 higher, stock cows $30-40 higher, pairs steady to $20 higher. Receipts totaled 1260 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $1117-127, 300-400 lbs. $110-120, several $122-129, 400-500 lbs. $101-110, 500-600 lbs. $88-97, 600-700 lbs. $82-88, 700-800 lbs. $79.50-83.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $99-109, 400-500 lbs. $91-100, 500-600 lbs. $85-89, 600-700 lbs. $79-83, 700-800 lbs. $71-74.

Slaughter cows: breakers $34-38.50, boners $36-41, high dressing $42-44.50, lean 1000-1200 lbs. $35-39.50, 750-1000 lbs. $32.50-36, under 750 lbs. $26-33.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1300-2100 lbs. $45-51, high dressing $52-56, 1000-300 lbs. $48-49.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young, 1050-1550 lbs. 7-8 months bred $600-700 per head, aged 1150-1250 lbs. 5-8 months bred $480-590; medium and large young 1000-1300 lb. cows with 100-250 lb. calves $730-820 per pair, aged 1050-1300 lb. cows with 100-200 lb. calves $600-720.
