GOLDTHWAITE —(Jan. 31)— Feeder and slaughter lambs sold $3-5 higher, slaughter ewes $3-5 higher; slaughter goats $5-10 higher, billies steady. Receipts totaled 2154 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 40-60 lbs. $90-99, lot 40 lbs. $106, 60-80 lbs. $85-92; choice and prime 2-3 slaughter lambs 90-110 lbs. $87-94; good 2-3 slaughter ewes $42.50-49, utility 2-3 $40.50-45, bucks $45-48, muttons 80-230 lbs. $69-77.

Barbados: medium and large No. 1 lambs 20-40 lbs. $70-75, 40-60 lbs. $75-80, ewes $44-54, bucks $60-62, few $170-400 per head.

Angora goats: nannies 65-75 lbs. $65-71 cwt., kids, 50-70 lbs. $86-91.

Spanish goats: young stock nannies 65-120 lbs. $55-65 cwt., choice and prime slaughter kids and yearlings 20-45 lbs. $85-95, few $100-105, 45-75 lbs. $86-90, nannies 65-110 lbs. $56-63, few to $68, thin $51-58, muttons 90-120 lbs. $62.50-69, billies 100-150 lbs. $76-85.
