Lambs Steady, Fats Off

FREDERICKSBURG —(Sept. 26)— Feeder lambs sold steady, slaughter lambs $1-2 lower, slaughter ewes $3-4 lower; slaughter kids were steady, nannies $3-5 higher. Receipts totaled 2365 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 45-65 lbs. $90-104, 65-85 lbs. $90-100; choice and prime 2-3 slaughter lambs 85-130 lbs. $85-95, good and choice 2-3 85-130 lbs. $73-84.50, utility 2-3 slaughter ewes 85-135 lbs. $30-35, cull $21-22.50, bucks 155-225 lbs. $28-40; medium and large 1-2 stock ewes 85-135 lbs. $40-45.50, bucks 125-145 lbs. $120-145 per head; Barbado lambs 40-60 lbs. $72-81, ewes 60-90 lbs. $40-49, bucks 100-120 lbs. $77-280 per head.
