Goldthwaite Sheep,
Goat Prices Higher

GOLDTHWAITE —(Sept. 22)— Feeder lambs sold $3-5 higher, slaughter lambs steady, slaughter ewes $3-5 higher, stock ewes steady; stock goats $5 higher, slaughter $1-2 higher. Receipts totaled 2915 head.

Sheep: medium and large 1-2 feeder lambs 40-60 lbs. $95-96, 60-80 lbs. $84-94, medium and large No. 2 60-80 lbs. $75-84; choice and prime 2-3 slaughter lambs 80-130 lbs. $85-89, good and choice 2-3 $75-85, utility 2-3 slaughter ewes $30-39.50, bucks 150-170 lbs. $32-35, muttons 65-120 lbs. $74-78; medium and large 1-2 stock ewes 130-195 lbs. $39-41.

Barbados: stock ewe lambs 25 lbs. $88, 45 lbs. $83, bucks 80-130 lbs. $80-350 per head; good and choice slaughter lambs 50-70 lbs. $70-80.50 cwt., ewes $42-48, bucks 70-110 lbs. $45-60.
