Lampasas Feeder Cattle
Prices Moved Stronger

LAMPASAS —(Sept. 20)— Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to instances $1-1.50 higher, slaughter cows and bulls steady. Receipts totaled 1401 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $125-132, 300-400 lbs. $108-118, 400-500 lbs. $93-103, 500-600 lbs. $85-93, 600-700 lbs. $74-82.

Feeder heifers; medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $99-111, 300-400 lbs. $92-103, 400-500 lbs. $85-92, 500-600 lbs. $78-85, 600-700 lbs. $71-77.

Slaughter cows: breakers $31-32.50, boners $34.50-37.50, high dressing $39-43, lean 1000-1200 lbs. $35-37, 750-1000 lbs. $27-31.50, under 750 lbs. $25.50-28; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1300-2100 lbs. $46.50-48.50, high dressing $48-53, 1000-1300 lbs. $42.50-47.50.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young 900-1300 lbs. 5-8 months bred $540-595 per head, aged 3-7 months bred $475-560; medium and large 1-2 young 1050-1450 lb. cows with 150-225 lb. calves $700-810 per pair, aged 1100-1200 lb. cows with baby to 150 lb. calves $550-620.
