Angelo Feeder Lamb,
Cattle Prices Steady

SAN ANGELO — Feeder lambs sold steady in a light test this week, slaughter lambs firm, slaughter ewes firm to $1 higher; goats were weak, instances $5 lower. Receipts totaled 8060 head, around 10 percent feeder lambs, 10 percent slaughter lambs, 45 percent slaughter ewes and 35 percent goats.

Feeder steers and heifers were steady last week, slaughter cows and bulls firm in a light test, stocker cows and pairs were slightly higher. Receipts totaled 4006 head.

Feeder lambs: medium and large 1-2 65-90 lbs. $93-97, set $99, set 92 lbs. $88.50, medium and large No. 2 70-90 lbs. $80-90; newcrop medium and large 1-2 38 lbs. $122.50, 45 lbs. $117, 62 lbs. $110, 73 lbs. $103, medium and large No. 2 40-60 lbs. $103-110, 60-70 lbs. $100-107.
