Abilene Feeder Steer,
Heifer Prices Steady

ABILENE —(Feb. 13)— Feeder steers and heifers sold steady, slaughter cows and bulls steady to strong, stock cows and pairs $10-20 lower. Receipts totaled 874 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $119-125, few $130-133, 400-500 lbs. $110-115, few $116-119, 500-600 lbs. $95-102, few $103-106, 600-700 lbs. $85-90, few $93, 700-800 lbs. $82.50-85.50, 800-900 lbs. $81-85; medium and large No. 2 300-400 lbs. $111-118, 400-500 lbs. $101-109, 500-600 lbs. $87-93, 600-700 lbs. $87-93, 600-700 lbs. $80-84, 700-800 lbs. $72-77.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $106-111, few $113-120, 400-500 lbs. $102-108, few $109-116, 500-600 lbs. $90-96, 600-700 lbs. $83-86; medium and large No. 2 300-400 lbs. $95-103, 400-500 lbs. $92-100, 500-600 lbs. $83-89, 600-700 lbs. $76-81.

Slaughter cows: boners $43-49, lean 1000-1200 lbs. $39.50-47, 800-1000 lbs. $41.50-45.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young 1000-1400 lbs. 4-8 months bred $640-740 per head.
