Goldthwaite Fat Lambs
Steady, Goats Higher

GOLDTHWAITE —(Feb. 9)— Feeder lambs were too few to test the market, slaughter lambs steady; feeder goats steady, slaughter $1-3 higher. Receipts totaled 1398 head.

Sheep: medium and large No. 1 feeder lambs 40-60 lbs. $100-114;. choice and prime slaughter lambs 85-130 lbs. $75-85, set $109.50, good and choice slaughter ewes 80-120 lbs. $70-75; utility and good 80-145 lbs. $45-50, bucks 150-200 lbs. $35-50; medium and large 1-2 stock ewes 111 lbs. $69.

Barbados: stock lambs 20-40 lbs. $95-107, ewes 70-90 lbs. $70-75, bucks $100-180 per head; slaughter lambs 20-40 lbs. $95-107 cwt., 40-80 lbs. $100-110, ewes 60-90 lbs. $50-59, bucks 90-130 lbs. $50-62.

Goats: slaughter Spanish kids 15-30 lbs. $100-110, Boer cross kids 15-30 lbs. $118-134, nannies $85-105 per head, Angora kids 40-60 lbs. $110-117 cwt., nannies with kids $23-32 per head; choice and prime slaughter Spanish kids and yearlings 15-30 lbs. $100-110, 35-80 lbs. $100-123, nannies 80-110 lbs. $50-65, billies 100-120 lbs. $55-61, muttons 95-150 lbs. $60-71, choice and prime Boer cross kids and yearlings 15-30 lbs. $118-134, 30-80 lbs. $110-127, nannies 120-200 lbs. $55-67, billies 100-235 lbs. $59-70, muttons 60-125 lbs. $75-89, choice and prime Angora mutton kids 40-60 lbs. $110-117, nannies 65-85 lbs. $50-55.
