Most Abilene Cattle
Prices Called Higher

ABILENE —(Nov. 6)— Feeder steers and heifers sold $1-2 higher, slaughter cows and bulls steady to $1 higher, stock cows and pairs steady. Receipts totaled 1419 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $121-125, few $131-147.50, 400-500 lbs. $105-110, 500-600 lbs. $85-92, 800-900 lbs. $70-75.25, medium and large No. 2 200-300 lbs. $109-115, 300-400 lbs. $105-111, 400-500 lbs. $95-103, 500-600 lbs. $75-83.50, 600-700 lbs. $72-77, 764 lbs. $75.25, 800-900 lbs. $61-67.50.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 500-600 lbs. $78-84, 600-700 lbs. $71.75-75, medium and large No. 2 200-300 lbs. $103-112, 300-400 lbs. $64-71.50.

Slaughter cows: boners $30.50-42.50, lean 800-1000 lbs. $28-31, under 750 lbs. $25-28.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1300-2100 lbs. $43-50.50.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 1000-1400 lbs. 4-8 months bred $540-650 per head; medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 1050-1250 lb. cows with 150-230 lb. calves $700-760 per pair.
