USDA reports 7175 head of feeder cattle selling direct off Oklahoma
range, including: for April delivery medium and large No. 1 steers to
weigh 825-875 pounds at $76-78; for current delivery similar steers
weighing 750-775 pounds at $79-82, 800-850 pounds at $76-80, and 900
pounds at $73.50; similar heifers weighing 400 at $104 and 675-725
pounds at $76-79.
Northwest direct feeder cattle trade as confirmed by USDA totaled
3900 head. Medium and large No. 1 steers weighing 575-600 pounds
brought $92.50 f.o.b. Oregon, 700 pounds $82 delivered in Idaho,
775-800 pounds $77 f.o.b. Idaho, 800-850 pounds $74.50-77 f.o.b.
Washington and Idaho, and 800-900 pounds $77-78 delivered in
Washington; similar heifers weighing 650-700 pounds were $76 f.o.b.
Idaho, 700-725 pounds $74 f.o.b. Idaho, 800-850 pounds $72-74 f.o.b.
Washington and Oregon, and 800-850 pounds $75-76 delivered in
Washington.
USDA reports 2525 head of feeder cattle selling direct off Colorado
range, all for current delivery, including: 650 medium and large No. 1
steers weighing 600 pounds at $93.90 delivered, 150 similar steers
weighing 725 at $86 delivered, 610 steers weighing 800-840 at
$78-78.75 f.o.b., and 520 steers weighing 800-825 at $78.50-80; 250
similar heifers weighing 700 at $80 delivered and 340 steers weighing
780 at $76.25-76.50 delivered.
New Mexico direct feeder cattle trade by USDA count came to 800
head. Medium and large No. 1 steers to weigh 750 pounds were $82.25
for April delivery; for current delivery similar steers weighing 750
were $81.50-82 and similar heifers weighing 700 pounds were $77.
