Goldthwaite Lambs
Off, Goats Higher

GOLDTHWAITE —(March 11)— Lightweight slaughter lambs were steady, heavyweights $3-5 lower; stock goats steady, slaughter goats $3-5 higher. Receipts totaled 1879 head.

Sheep: choice and prime slaughter lambs 30-60 lbs. $94.50-101, 70–150 lbs. $62.50-80; utility to good slaughter ewes 90-170 lbs. $37-44, bucks 170-220 lbs. $32.50-55; medium and large 1-2 ewes with lambs $35-50 per head, fancy $50-75.

Barbados: slaughter lambs 20-40 lbs. $90-100, 40-65 lbs. $95-100, ewes 60-90 lbs. $40-50, bucks 60-100 lbs. $64-71.

Goats: stock Spanish nannies with kids $33 per head, Boer cross kids 20-40 lbs. $102-115, nannies 80-140 lbs. $60-70, few 50-70 lbs. $110-120; choice and prime slaughter Spanish kids and yearlings 60-80 lbs. $95-108, nannies 60-165 lbs. $50-67.50, choice and prime Boer cross kids and yearlings 20-40 lbs. $102-115, 40-60 lbs. $103-118, 60-80 lbs. $100-117, nannies 80-150 lbs. $53.50-74, billies 120-250 lbs. $60-70, muttons 75-120 lbs. $80-92, Angora nannies 65-80 lbs. $30-37.50, billies 140 lbs. $40, muttons 80-130 lbs. $50-58.
