Most Lampasas Cattle
Prices Termed Higher

LAMPASAS —(March 6)— Feeder steers and heifers sold $1-2 higher, slaughter cows $2.50-3 higher, bulls $1-1.50 higher. Receipts totaled 903 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $126-129, few to $135, 300-400 lbs. $120-127, 400-500 lbs. $109-120, 500-600 lbs. $96-106, 600-700 lbs. $79-85, few to $91; medium and large No. 2 200-300 lbs. $200-300 lbs. $118-123, 300-400 lbs. $112-120, 400-500 lbs. $99-112, 500-600 lbs. $89-96, 600-700 lbs. $74-78, 700-800 lbs. $69-74.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $112-119, 300-400 lbs. $101-114, 400-500 lbs. $96-107, 500-600 lbs. $89-96, 600-700 lbs. $78-83; medium and large No. 2 200-300 lbs. $94-101, 300-400 lbs. $92-100, 400-500 lbs. $90-96, 500-600 lbs. $82-88, 600-700 lbs. $71-76, 700-800 lbs. $69-73.

Slaughter cows: breakers $39-42, boners $41.50-45, high dressing $45.50-48, few to $52, lean 1000-1200 lbs. $42-45, 800-1000 lbs. $36-40.50, under 750 lbs. $33-35.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1300-2100 lbs. $56.50-59.50, 1000-1300 lbs. $52.50-56.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 1200-1350 lbs. 6-8 months bred $800-920 per head, aged 1000-1200 lbs. 4-7 months bred $525-750; medium and large 1 young and middleaged 1400-1650 lb. cows with 100-150 lb. calves $820-935 per pair, aged 1050-1300 lb. cows with baby to 125 lb. calves $540-780.
