Hamilton Lightweight
Feeder Cattle Higher

HAMILTON —(June 11)— Lightweight feeder steers and heifers sold higher, heavyweights steady, slaughter cows and bulls steady, stock cows and pairs steady. Receipts totaled 309 head.

Sheep and goats sold mostly steady Monday, kids lower. Receipts totaled 2216 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $101-122, 300-400 lbs. $94-109, 400-500 lbs. $82-95, 500-600 lbs. $75-86, 600-700 lbs. $74-79, over 700 lbs. $66-76.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $97-109, 300-400 lbs. $85-95, 400-500 lbs. $73-84, 500-600 lbs. $72-80, 600-700 lbs. $66-75, over 700 lbs. $57-65.

Slaughter cows: high dressing $35-39, low dressing $26-34; high dressing bulls 52-57, low dressing $45-50; choice bred stock cows $600-700 per head, medium $525-610, aged $375-500; choice cows with calves $800-900 per pair, medium $675-775, aged $575-660.

Sheep: lambs 40-60 lbs. $73-83, 60-80 lbs. $71-81, 5a0-100 lbs. $71-76, over 100 lbs. $65-70; stock ewes $35-48, slaughter $22-37; Barbado ewes $35-57, lambs $60-89, bucks $55-65.

Goats: meat type slaughter kids 20-40 lbs. $72-88, 40-65 lbs. $77-100, over 65 lbs. $80-96; stock nanny kids 20-40 lbs. $90-100, 40-65 lbs. $92-109, over 65 lbs. $90-102; stock nannies $55-80, slaughter $47-58; stock billies $70-85, slaughter $65-74.
