BETTER CONDITIONS have given livestock throughout much of Central Texas a lot of dietary choice this year, a contrast in many areas to the situation that has prevailed for a long time. Western ranges continue to miss out on most of the rainfall, however, and the line marking ranchland that could use a refresher has begun moving eastward.
