ABILENE —(July 23)— Feeder steers and heifers under 500 pounds
traded $2-3 higher, heavier weights steady, slaughter cows and bulls
steady, replacement cows and pairs steady to firm. Receipts totaled
902 head.
Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 pounds $106-112, a
few $115; 400-500 pounds $90-96.50, a few $97-110; 500-600 pounds
$81-86, a few to $87; 600-700 pounds $81.50-85; medium and large No. 2
400-500 pounds $75-79; 400-500 pounds $81-89; 500-600 pounds
$73-80.50; 600-700 pounds $73-79.50; 700-800 pounds $71-75; 800-900
