Goat Prices Steady

HAMILTON —(July 22)— Sheep and goat prices were generally steady, some Barbados higher on receipts of 2770 head.

Lambs: 40-60 lbs. $72-85, 60-80 lbs. $70-83, 80-100 lbs. $70-82, 100 lbs.-plus $76-82; stocker ewe lambs 25-38 lbs. $37-44.

Goats: Spanish, Boer and Boer cross kids 20-40 lbs. $89-101, 40-65 lbs. $87-96, 65 lbs. and heavier $85-94; nannies 37-56 lbs. $55-78; billies 65-75 lbs. $73-85.

Barbados: ewes $35-50 per head, lambs $72-84 cwt. and bucks $50-65 with a few stocker bucks $225 per head.
