Llano Cattle Mixed,
Most Killers Lower

LLANO —(July 23)— Feeder steers and heifers sold mixed this week, most slaughter classes lower in light receipts of 320 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $90-105, 400-500 lbs. $85-98, 500-600 lbs. $77-88, 600-700 lbs. $74-82, 700-800 lbs. $70-74.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $80-90, 400-500 lbs. $75-82, 500-600 lbs. $72-78, 600-700 lbs. $68-72, 700-800 lbs. $62-68.

Slaughter cows: utility and commercial $34-36, cutter and boning utility $32-36, canner and low cutter $28-30; bulls $45-53.

Representative sales: McGowan Ranch, Pontotoc, five heifers, 572 lbs. $90; two steers, 533 lbs. $86.50; Harold Goehman, steer, 535 lbs. $88.50; Roy Motley, Marble Falls, steer, 480 lbs. $96; Renick Ranch, Llano, five heifers, 684 lbs. $78.50; Weber Ranch, Llano, heifer, 605 lbs. $89.50; Berry Springs Ranch, Castell, two steers, 613 lbs. $86; Jolene Lively, Bend, steer, 575 lbs. $88.
