Angelo Feeder Lambs
Firm, Cattle Weak

SAN ANGELO — Feeder lambs sold firm this week, slaughter lambs firm, slaughter ewes firm to $3 higher; nanny goats were firm, kids $2-3 higher. Receipts totaled 13,672 head, around 45 percent slaughter ewes, 10 percent feeder lambs, 10 percent slaughter lambs and 35 percent goats.

Feeder steers and heifers were weak last week, slaughter cows and bulls steady to $1 lower, stock cows and pairs steady in a light test. Receipts totaled 1450 head, around 70 percent feeders, 25 percent slaughter cows and bulls and five percent stock cows and pairs.

Feeder lambs: medium and large 1-2 40-60 lbs. $82-85, 60-70 lbs. $76-81, 70-90 lbs. $74-77.50, set 71 lbs. $83; medium and large No. 2 40-60 lbs. $70-82, 60-90 lbs. $65-75.

Slaughter lambs: choice 2-3 shorn and wooled 90-125 lbs. $70-81, few $81-84, good and choice 1-2 70-90 lbs. $72-82; good and choice 2-4 slaughter ewes $28-34, good 2-3 $32-43, utility and good 1-3 $38-48, utility 1-2 $28-39, cull and utility 1-2 $20-28, bucks $28-45.

Stock ewes: medium and large 1-2 yearlings $85 per head, 95-110 lbs. $60-66 cwt., mixed age 105-135 lbs. $53-57.
