SONORA —(July 24)— The annual Angora goat performance test sale at the Texas A&M Experiment Station near here offered 16 rams and nine head sold for a $247.22 average. Top-selling ram was consigned by Fritz Kuebel Jr., and bought by David Steinberg, Perry, Iowa, for $450. Steinberg also bought a ram from Freddie and Mary Alice Flach for $250. Cerulean Farm, Harrah, Okla., bought a Kuebel ram for $300. Bo Evans sold a ram to Mitchelll Bennett, Ashland, Mo. for $200. Joe David Ross bought a ram from Haby and Haby for $225. He also bought four rams at $200, one each from W.F. Kroll and Son, Allen Belk, Naumann Angoras and Larry Dieke. |
