Coleman Feeder Steers,
Heifers Steady To Up

COLEMAN —(July 24)— Feeder steers and heifers under 500 pounds sold $1-2 higher, heavier weights steady, slaughter cows and bulls $1-2 lower, stock cows and pairs $10-20 higher. Receipts totaled 923 head.

Feeder steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $102-108, few $111-116, 400-500 lbs. $89-93, 500-600 lbs. $82-87[, few $89, 600-700 lbs. $76-81; medium and large No. 2 400-500 lbs. $80-86, 500-600 lbs. $73.50-81, 600-700 lbs. $72-75.50, 700-800 lbs. $70-74.50.

Feeder heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $92-97, few $99-102, 400-500 lbs. $85-91, 500-600 lbs. $83-86, 600-700 lbs. $73-76; medium and large No. 2 400-500 lbs. $75-84, 500-600 lbs. $72.50-79, 600-700 lbs. $69.50-72.50, 700-800 lbs. $66-70.50.

Slaughter cows: boners $33.50-37.50, lean 800-1000 lbs. $30.50-35.50.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 800-1250 lbs. 2-8 months bred $580-720 per head; medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 800-1400 lb. cows with 150-200 lb. calves $625-780 per pair; young 1450 lb. cows with 250-350 lb. calves $820-1050.
