BROWNWOOD —(Aug. 13)— Heavyweight feeder steers and heifers sold $3 lower, others steady, slaughter cows and bulls $2 lower, stock cows and pairs steady. Receipts totaled 250 head.

Steers: choice lightweight calves $95-105, mediumweight $78-90, heavyweight $70-78; lightweight yearlings $72-76, heavyweight $68-72.

Heifers: choice lightweight calves $85-92, mediumweight $75-84, heavyweight $70-74; lightweight yearlings $68-72, heavyweight $62-67.

Slaughter cows: high dressing $36-39, medium dressing $34-36, low dressing $30-33; high dressing bulls $46-48, medium dressing $44-46, low dressing $40-44; choice bred stock cows $675-750 per head, medium and good $600-675, aged $550-600; choice cows with calves $850-900 per pair, medium and good $750-850, aged $600-750.
