Fredericksburg Sheep,
Goat Prices Steady

FREDERICKSBURG —(Aug. 13)— Feeder and slaughter lambs sold steady to firm, stock and slaughter goats steady. Receipts totaled 3518 head.

Sheep: medium and large 1-2 feeder lambs 40-70 lbs. $80-90.50, 70-90 lbs. $75-80; choice and prime slaughter lambs 40-80 lbs. $80-90; good slaughter ewes 90-150 lbs. $32-44, bucks 115-205 lbs. $20-48; medium and large 1-2 stock ewes 80-130 lbs. $51.50-75; Barbado lambs 15-40 lbs. $73-84, 40-80 lbs. $78-82.50, ewes 50-80 lbs. $45-62, bucks 75-125 lbs. $100-250 per head.

Goats: selection 1 meat type slaughter kids 15-40 lbs. $84-94.50, 40-60 lbs. $85-92, 60-80 lbs. $81-92, nannies 65-120 lbs. $41-58, few lightweights $63-67, billies 100-200 lbs. $68-72, muttons 80-130 lbs. $88-101; selection 1 stock kids 40-75 lbs. fancy $90-120; nannies 65-120 lbs. $80-100; selection 2 50-80, selection 1 billies 80-200 lbs. $76-85; slaughter Angora nannies 60-90 lbs. $28-44, billies 90-120 lbs. $27-35.
