Heifer Prices Mixed

Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $3 higher last week in Mason and San Saba, the advance on lightweights, laughter cows steady, bulls $1-2 lower, bred stock cows and pairs steady to $20 higher. Receipts totaled 4319 head at the two sales.

Steers: choice lightweight calves $100-112, mediumweight $87-95, heavyweight $76-82; lightweight yearlings $73-77, heavyweight $63-70,

Heifers: choice lightweight calves $88-99, mediumweight $80-95, heavyweight $72-86; lightweight yearlings $67-73, heavyweights $57-65.

Slaughter cows: high dressing $38-43, medium dressing $33-37, low dressing $28-32; high dressing bulls $48.50-50.50, medium dressing $45-48, low dressing $40-44.

Stock cows: medium to good bred cows $520-620, plainer and older $455-550; choice cows with calves $750-890, medium to good $650-740, plainer and older $550-640.
