Most Hamilton Feeder
Cattle, Lambs Steady

HAMILTON —(Oct. 8)— Feeder steers and heifers sold steady, slaughter cows $2-4 higher, bulls steady, stock cows and pairs steady. Receipts totaled 411 head. On Tuesday lambs, ewes and nannies were steady, kids $2-4 higher. Receipts totaled 1226 head.

Steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $92-107, 300-400 lbs. $87-103, 400-500 lbs. $83-96, 500-600 lbs. $78-87, 600-700 lbs. $71-79, over 700 lbs. $67-75.

Heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $90-107, 300-400 lbs. $79-90, 400-500 lbs. $73-78, 500-600 lbs. $67-89, 600-700 lbs. $64-79, over 700 lbs. $58-72.

Slaughter cows: high dressing $34-38, low dressing $29-33; high dressing bulls $43-47, low dressing $40-42; choice bred stock cows $585-700 per head, medium $475-575, aged $325-500; choice cows with calves $790-925 per pair, medium $625-725, aged $550-635.

Sheep: lambs 40-60 lbs. $76-84, 60-80 lbs. $70-81, 80-100 lbs. $65-74, over 100 lbs. $55-70; stock ewes $35-45, slaughter $22-36; Barbado lambs $70-88, ewes $22-38 per head, bucks $70-350.

Goats: slaughter meat type kids 20-40 lbs. $83-91, 40-70 lbs. $84-95.50, over 70 lbs. $76-89; fleshy slaughter nannies $35-44, medium $32-36, thin $22-32, billies $65-73; choice stock nanny kids 20-70 lbs. $87-101, over 70 lbs. $85-105, nannies $70-110 per head, medium $50-60, billies $75-350.
