San Saba Special
Sale Tops At $1510

SAN SABA —(Sep. 28)— Jordan Cattle Auction’s special replacement sale saw good demand on better pairs with numerous groups going for $1000-$1275. The highest price paid for pairs in special sales the past 18 months was paid for a group of Brangus that brought $1510 per pair. Top selling bred cows were a set of young Angus at $1070, top-selling bred heifers some F-1 Brangus at $950 per head. Demand was good on most all medium to long bred cows and heifers; short bred or spring calving cows and heifers enjoyed less demand. Open heifer yearlings sold strong on an active market. Receipts totaled 3001 head.
