Most Milano Cattle
Prices Termed Higher

MILANO —(Oct. 8)— Feeder steers and heifers sold $1-2 higher, slaughter cows $1-2 higher, bulls steady. Receipts totaled 966 head.

Steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $100-104, 400-500 lbs. $85-92, 500-600 lbs. $75-83, 600-700 lbs. $72-75.50, 700-740 lbs. $70-74.50; medium and large No. 2 300-400 lbs. $91-98, 400-500 lbs. $76-85, 500-600 lbs. $71-78, 600-700 lbs. $66-72, 700-800 lbs. $66-68.

Heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $85-89, 400-500 lbs. $80-86, 500-600 lbs. $72-77, replacements $83-84, 600-700 lbs. $72-73; medium and large No. 2 300-400 lbs. $78-81, 400-500 lbs. $73-80, 500-600 lbs. $68-73, 600-700 lbs. $65-70, 700-800 lbs. $65-66.

Slaughter cows: breakers $32.50-35, boners $33-37.50, lean 1000-1650 lbs. $30.50-37.50, 800-1000 lbs. $32-34.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1400-2000 lbs. $42.50-47.50.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 1000-1450 lbs. 5-6 months bred $47-57; medium and large 1-2 middleaged 950-1000 lb. cows with 150-225 lb. calves $680-690 per pair.
