Up, Heifers Steady

COLORADO CITY —(Oct. 16)— Feeder steers sold steady to $2 higher, heifers steady, slaughter cows steady to $1 higher, bulls steady, stock cows $50-75 higher, pairs $45-90 higher. Receipts totaled 760 head.

Steers: medium and large No. 1 240-300 lbs. $113-114, 350-400 lbs. $90-102, 400-500 lbs. $85-93, 500-600 lbs. $75.25-85, 600-700 lbs. $76.50-77.25, 700-775 pounds $70.50-73; medium and large No. 2 200-300 lbs. $96-105, 300-400 lbs. $80-82.50, 400-500 lbs. $77.50-83, 500-600 lbs. $69-75, 600-700 lbs. $67-75.50, 700-800 lbs. $62.50-68.50.

Heifers: medium and large No. 1 400-475 lbs. $81-83, 500-600 lbs. $73-76, 613 pounds $76.25; medium and large No. 2 250-300 lbs. $85-95, 300-375 lbs. $80-85.50, 400-500 lbs. $71-80, 500-600 lbs. $68-72.50, 600-700 lbs. $66-71, 800-875 lbs. $62.50-63.

Slaughter cows: breakers $33-35, boners $35-37.25, high dressing $36-38, lean 1000-1250 lbs. $33-37.25, 800-1000 lbs. $31.50-36.25, under 750 lbs. $29-30.50; high dressing yield grade No. 1-2 bulls 1400-1800 lbs. $46-48.

Stock cows: medium and large No. 1-2 young and middleaged 900-1350 lbs. 3-8 months bred $400-625 per head, aged 900-1250 lbs. 4-7 months bred $325-450; medium and large No. 1-2 young 800-1200 lb. cows with 200-450 lb. calves $790-935 per pair, 3-6 year old 950-1250 lb. cows with 100-200 lb. calves $625-730.
