Most Coleman Cattle
Prices Called Higher

COLEMAN —(Oct. 16)— Feeder steers and heifers sold $2-3 higher, slaughter cows and bulls $1-2 higher, stock cows and pairs $10-20 higher. Receipts totaled 1554 head.

Steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $101-108, 400-500 lbs. $91-101, 500-600 lbs. $80-86, few to $92, 600-700 lbs. $73-79.50, 700-800 lbs. $70-77; medium and large No. 2 300-400 lbs. $93-100, 400-500 lbs. $83.50-89, 500-600 lbs. $72-79.50, 600-700 lbs. $69-75.50, 700-800 lbs. $64-69.

Heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $90.50-96, few $103, 400-500 lbs. $83-92, 500-600 lbs. $79.50-84, 600-700 lbs. $72-78; medium and large No. 2 300-400 lbs. $81-88, 400-500 lbs. $76-83, 500-600 lbs. $70-78.50, 600-700 lbs. $67-72, 700-800 lbs. $65-70.50.

Slaughter cows: breakers $30.50-35, boners $30-37.50, lean 1000-1200 lbs. $18.50-30.50, 800-1000 lbs. $28.50-32.50, under 750 lbs. $22-26.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1300-2100 lbs. $41-42, high dressing to $48.50.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 850-1450 lbs. 2-8 months bred $530-790 per head; medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 950-1650 lb. cows with 150-355 lb. calves $625-840 per pair.
