Vann-Roach Cattle Co., Fort Worth, bought in North Texas for June 15-30 delivery 335 No. 1 crossbred steers to weigh 725 pounds at $80.50, for Dec. 1-25 delivery one load of No. 1 English and exotic cross steers to weigh 725 at $81.50, and for Nov. 1-5 delivery 70 similar heifers to weigh 725 at $75; in West Texas for Nov. 10-20 delivery 145 weaned Charolais cross steer calves to weigh 550 at $86 and 110 heifer mates to weigh 540 at $82, also 270 weaned Brangus steer calves to weigh 740 at $81 and 195 heifer mates to weigh 680 at $79; in the Texas Panhandle for Feb. 15-28 delivery 70 No. 1 crossbred steers to weigh 750 at $1 back of the March feeder futures board, for Dec. 10-25 delivery 140 No. 1 English and exotic cross steers to weigh 750 even with the January board, and for current delivery 135 similar steers weighing 750 at $83 as well as 140 No. 1 crossbred steers weighing 725 at $82; in Eastern Kansas for Jan. 1-10 delivery 500 No. 1 English and exotic cross steers to weigh 775 at $2.50 back of the January board; in South Texas for current delivery 100 weaned No. 1 steer calves weighing 500 at $90 and 100 heifer mates weighing 475 at $83, also 90 such steers weighing 550 at $85 and 90 heifer mates weighing 525 at $80; in New mexico 140 No. 1 English and exotic cross steers weighing 725 at $82; in Oklahoma 140 similar heifers weighing 700 at $77.

Ty Jones Cattle Co., Canyon, bought in Central Texas for December delivery 300 No. 1-1½ Okie and crossbred heifers to weigh 700 pounds at $75 and for November delivery 160 similar heifers to weigh 600 at $77, also 300 such heifers to weigh 700 at $75; in New Mexico for current delivery 1000 No. 1 English and exotic cross steers weighing 775 at $80.

USDA reports 6525 head of feeder cattle selling direct off Oklahoma range, including: for February delivery medium and large No. 1 steers to weigh 800 pounds at $77.50 and for January similar heifers to weigh 700 at $75; for current delivery similar steers weighing 525-540 pounds at $90-99, 650 pounds at $84-86, 725-750 at $81.50-83.50, and 800 pounds at $79-80, also heifers weighing 500-525 at $84-86 and 600-700 at $76-80.

Northwest direct feeder cattle trade as confirmed by USDA totaled 5700 head, all for current delivery. Medium and large No. 1-2 steers weighing 550 pounds brought $81 f.o.b. Idaho, 550 pounds $84-85 weaned f.o.b. Idaho, 650-700 pounds $79-80 weaned f.o.b. Idaho, 700-750 pounds $74.50-79 f.o.b. Oregon and Washington, 850-900 pounds fleshy $75 f.o.b. Oregon, and 850-900 pounds $79 delivered in Oregon; similar heifers weighing 500 were $75 f.o.b. Idaho, 600-650 pounds $71-75 f.o.b. Idaho and Washington, 750 pounds $78 delivered in Oregon, 800-850 pounds fleshy $73 f.o.b. Oregon, and 800-900 pounds $70-72.50 f.o.b. Washington and Idaho.

USDA reports 4050 head of feeder cattle selling direct off Oklahoma range, all for current delivery, including 85 medium and large No. 1 steers weighing 600 pounds at $85.20 delivered, 205 similar steers weighing 725-775 pounds at $82.50-83 delivered, 200 steers weighing 800 at $80.85 delivered, 600 steers weighing 550 at $92 delivered, and 300 steers weighing 450 at $100 f.o.b.; also 600 similar heifers weighing 525 at $84 delivered, 870 heifers weighing 650-675 at $79-80.85 delivered, 440 heifers weighing 550 at $80-81 f.o.b., and 105 heifers weighing 775 at $76 f.o.b.
