  Unregistered Bull
Choice gleanings from 45-plus years of Unregistered Bull
Once upon a time there were two cowpunchers, batching on an isolated ranch. Their names were Rhone and Sales, so of course their nicknames had to be Blue and Red, respectively.

Being cheap nowadays requires techniques developed to a fine art. Penny candy now costs a quarter, a nickel Coke may run to a dollar, and a two-bit hamburger can be a couple of bucks or more. And still statistics indicate that 20 million people in the U.S. go to bed hungry every night — 10 million from dieting and 10 million from fast food joints.

Shortgrass Country
Set the scene in San Angelo on a cold winter afternoon after Christmas. A man and his wife leading a big red bird dog come bounding in the front door before the doorbell makes the third ring. The Computer& The Cowboy
If you haven’t bought a computer yet, or are looking to buy a new one, David Cox, an engineer/oilman/farmer/rancher from Midland, was quick to remind me that I never mention Apple computers. This Christmas he replaced his old Windows computer with an iMac and is delighted with it. Ken Welch, foreman of the Silverbrook Ranch, agrees with him. He wouldn’t have a Windows machine.
