New Mexico To Lose Bovine TB "Free" Status, Movement Ease

The exact date of the status reduction is up to USDA and its publication of the decision in the Federal Register. "While this reclassification will have virtually no impact on consumers of beef and/or milk in New Mexico or elsewhere, it will have tremendous impact on livestock producers in the state," Bidegain says.
