Coleman Feeder Steer,
Heifer Prices Higher

COLEMAN —(TDA-Aug. 20)— Feeder steers and heifers sold $1-2 higher, slaughter cows and bulls steady to firm, stock cows and pairs steady. Receipts totaled 1074 head.

Steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $103-109, few to $125, 400-500 lbs. $91-96, few to $117, 500-600 lbs. $85-99, 600-700 lbs. $81-86.50, few to $100, 700-800 lbs. $81.50-91, 800-900 lbs. $75-84.50; medium and large No. 2 400-500 lbs. $85-91, 400-500 lbs. $83-87.50, 600-700 lbs. $75-82, 700-800 lbs. $74-80.

Heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $93-99, few to $121, 400-500 lbs. $91-103, 500-600 lbs. $85-97, 600-700 lbs. $81.50-89.50, 800-900 lbs. $75-83; medium and large No. 2 300-400 lbs. $86-91, 400-500 lbs. $82-88, 500-600 lbs. $78-85.50, 600-700 lbs. $78.50-84.

Slaughter cows: breakers $39-44.50, boners $36.50-45.50, lean $30-35; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1500-2100 lbs. $50.50-57.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 850-1400 lbs. 2-7 months bred $520-725 per head; medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 1000-1450 lb. cows with 150-310 lb. calves $650-925 per pair.
