Most Lampasas Cattle
Prices Termed Lower

LAMPASAS —(TDA-Oct. 29)— Feeder steers and heifers sold $1-2 lower, slaughter cows and bulls $1-1.50 lower, bulls $3-4 lower. Receipts totaled 1464 head.

Steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $121-127, 300-400 lbs. $119-126, 400-500 lbs. $108-118, 500-600 lbs. $100-107, 600-700 lbs. $89-96; medium and large No. 2 300-400 lbs. $111-118, 400-500 lbs. $103-107, 500-600 lbs. $92-98, 600-700 lbs. $80-87.50, 700-800 lbs. $80-86.

Heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $107-116, 400-500 lbs. $100-107, 500-600 lbs. $97.50-102, 600-700 lbs. $84-90; medium and large No. 2 300-400 lbs. $98-106, 400-500 lbs. $94-99, 500-600 lbs. $87-91.50, 600-700 lbs. $75-83, 700-800 lbs. $79-85.

Slaughter cows: breakers $39.50-41.50, boners $41-43.50, high dressing $43.50-45.50, lean 1200-1600 lbs. $39.50-42.50, 1000-1200 lbs. $35-41, 800-1000 lbs. $32-39.50, under 800 lbs. $27.50-31.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls l300-2100 lbs. $54.50-57.50, 1000-1300 lbs. $48-54.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 1400-1550 lbs. 5-8 months bred $710-805 per head, aged 950-1250 lbs. 3-6 months bred $480-690; medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 1350-1450 lb. cows with 175-250 lb. calves $810-920 per pair.
