Prices Called Higher

ABILENE —(TDA-Nov. 11)— Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $3 higher, slaughter cows and bulls $3-5 higher, stock cows $10-20 higher. Receipts totaled 861 head.

Steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $105-112, few to $127, 400-500 lbs. $103-116, 500-600 lbs. $93-110, 600-700 lbs. $88-99, 700-800 lbs. $85.50-97; medium and large No. 2 400-500 lbs. $94-102, 500-600 lbs. $85-91, 600-700 lbs. $84-91.

Heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $116-125, 300-400 lbs. $103-114, 400-500 lbs. $94-107, 500-600 lbs. $88-99, 600-700 lbs. $87-94, 700-800 lbs. $84-90; medium and large No. 2 200-300 lbs. $105-112, 300-400 lbs. $94-101, 400-500 lbs. $87-93, 500-600 lbs. $85-91, 600-700 lbs. $83-90.

Slaughter cows: breakers $46-53.50, boners $43.50-49, high dressing $48.50-56, lean $38-43.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1500-2100 lbs. $55-63.50.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 800-1450 lbs. 2-8 months bred $600-890 per head, aged 900-1300 lbs. 2-7 months bred $450-570.
