Coleman Feeder Steer,
Heifer Prices Higher

COLEMAN —(TDA-Nov. 5)— Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $1 higher, slaughter cows and bulls steady, stock cows and pairs $5-10 lower. Receipts totaled 993 head.

Steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $108-113, few to $121, 400-500 lbs. $103-116, 500-600 lbs. $93-112, 600-700 lbs. $85-97, 700-800 lbs. $85-90; medium and large No. 2 400-500 lbs. $95-101, 500-600 lbs. $86-93, 600-700 lbs. $83-91.

Heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $105-111, few to $117, 400-500 lbs. $93-108, 500-600 lbs. $89-98, 600-700 lbs. $85.50-98, 700-800 lbs. $81.50-86; medium and large No. 2 400-500 lbs. $86-92, 500-600 lbs. 85-91, 600-700 lbs. $82-89.

Slaughter cows: breakers 1200-1600 lbs. $45-49.50, 1000-1200 lbs. $40.50-48, boners $41.50-49, lean $34-43.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls l300-2100 lbs. $49.50-50, high dressing to $58.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 850-1400 lbs. 2-8 months bred $540-810 per head, aged 950-1100 lbs. 2-8 months bred $450-620; medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 900-1600 lb. cows with 150-450 lb. calves $710-1085 per pair.
