Most Hamilton Sheep, 
Goats, Cattle Steady  

            HAMILTON —(Jan. 12-13)— Lambs and ewes sold steady Monday, kids steady and nannies higher. Receipts totaled 2395 head. All cattle classes sold steady Tuesday on receipts of 407 head.

            Sheep: lambs 40-60 lbs. $115-130, 60-80 lbs. $112-128, 80-100 lbs. $105-120, over 100 lbs. $83-105; slaughter ewes $30-70; stock ewes $50-90 per head.

            Goats: meat type slaughter kids 20-40 lbs. $115-134, 40-70 lbs. $113-132, over 70 lbs. $112-129, nannies $50-80, billies $85-15; stock nanny kids $120-135; nannies $70-180 per head, billies $150-500.

            Steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $101-115, 300-400 lbs. $95-110, 400-500 lbs. $93-112, 500-600 lbs. $90-101, 600-700 lbs. $82-89, over 700 lbs. $80-87.

            Heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $95-107, 300-400 lbs. $93-104, 400-500 lbs. $85-100, 500-600 lbs. $83-90, 600-700 lbs. $80-89, over 700 lbs. $68-80.

            Slaughter cows: high dressing $46-53, low $32-37; high dressing bulls $58-63, low $40-50; choice bred stock cows $750-900 per head, medium $550-600, aged $490-610; choice cows with calves $800-1000 per pair, medium $700-800, aged $525-675.
