Hamilton Lambs, Kids
Higher, Others Steady  

            HAMILTON —(Jan. 26-27)— Lambs sold $3-7 higher on Monday, ewes steady, kids higher and nannies steady. Receipts totaled 2604 head. All cattle classes sold steady Tuesday on receipts of 505 head.

            Sheep: lambs 40-60 lbs. $132-145, 60-80 lbs. $130-146, 80-100 lbs. $120-140, over 100 lbs. $87-110; slaughter ewes $40-71, stock ewes $50-80.

            Goats: slaughter kids 20-40 lbs. $120-156, 40-70 lbs. $122-141, over 70 lbs. $117-140, nannies $52-88, billies $80-110; stock nanny kids $125-137, nannies $75-135 per head, billies $110-250.

            Steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $118-129, 300-400 lbs. $115-127, 400-500 lbs. $105-120, 500-600 lbs. $92-110, 600-700 lbs. $87-95, over 700 lbs. $84-93.

            Heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $110-130, 300-400 lbs. $100-124, 400-500 lbs. $95-114, 500-600 lbs. $85-98, 600-700 lbs. $82-91, over 700 lbs. $77-86.

            Slaughter cows: high dressing $45-51, low $33-37; high dressing bulls $61-67, low $50-55; choice bred stock cows $725-850 per head, medium $525-600, aged $425-750; choice cows with calves $875-1000 per pair, medium $725-800, aged $425-700.
