Most Coleman Cattle
Prices Called Higher

COLEMAN —(TDA-March 4)— Feeder steers and heifers sold $3-6 higher, slaughter cows and bulls $1-2 higher, stock cows and pairs steady to firm. Receipts totaled 1104 head.

Steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $114-121, few to $127.50, 400-500 lbs. $105-127.50, 500-600 lbs. $99-116, 600-700 lbs. $90-105, 700-800 lbs. $82-94; medium and large No. 2 400-500 lbs. $96-103, 500-600 lbs. $95-102, 600-700 lbs. $87-94, 700-800 lbs. $75-80.

Heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $103-110, few to $120, 400-500 lbs. $98-114, 500-600 lbs. $92-104, 600-700 lbs. $80.50-88; medium and large No. 2 300-400 lbs. $95-101, 400-500 lbs. $90-97, 500-600 lbs. $88-96, 600-700 lbs. $81-88.50.

Slaughter cows: breakers $44.50-47.50, boners $42.50-50, lean $39-46.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1300-2100 lbs. $57.50-61.60, high dressing $60-65.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 850-1450 lbs. 2-8 months bred $560-850 per head; medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 850-1650 lb. cows with 100-300 lb. calves $610-1100 per pair.
