Most Comanche Feeder
Cattle Prices Higher

COMANCHE —(March 6)— Feeder steers and heifers sold $8-12 higher, slaughter cows and bulls steady. Receipts totaled 325 head.

Steers: medium and large No. 1 under 300 lbs. $147-160, 300-400 lbs. $137-147, 400-500 lbs. $115-126, 500-600 lbs. $112-117, 600-700 lbs. $95-102, over 700 lbs. $82-88; medium and large No. 2 under 300 lbs. $140-145, 300-400 lbs. $125-130, 400-500 lbs. $112-118, 500-600 lbs. $105-110, 600-700 lbs. $92-95, over 700 lbs. $80-82.

Heifers: medium and large No. 1 under 300 lbs. $120-180, 300-400 lbs. $115-120, 400-500 lbs. $110-117, 500-600 lbs. $l05-113, 600-700 lbs. $90-96, over 700 lbs. $73-75; medium and large No. 2 under 300 lbs. $110-118, 300-400 lbs. $105-112, 400-500 lbs. $100-105, 500-600 lbs. $95-100, 600-700 lbs. $82-85, over 700 lbs. $68-72.

Slaughter cows: utility $45-50, high dressing to $53, cutter $43-50, canner $32-40; bulls $57-60, high dressing $63; good bred stock cows $780-900 per head, plain $475-675; good cows with calves 850-950 per pair, plain $675-800.
