Replacement Cattle
SAN SABA —(Feb. 28)— Open heifers were mostly $675-780 per head
in a special replacement female sale, and 38 tigerstripes brought
$860. Pairs were mostly $1100-1230, a few tigerstripes $1340, bred
heifers $875-1050, topping at $1170 on 15 Brangus, and bred cows were
mostly $800-1000 with few second-calf Brangus at $1180. Receipts
totaled 3803 head.
