Colorado City Feeder
Cattle Prices Higher

COLORADO CITY —(March 17)— Feeder steer and heifer calves were $2-4 higher, yearlings steady to $1 higher, slaughter cows steady to $1 lower, bulls steady, stock cows and pairs steady. Receipts totaled 414 head.

Steers: 300-400 lbs. $126-140, 400-500 lbs. $109-125, 500-600 lbs. $90-105, 600-750 lbs. $88-101.

Heifers: 300-400 lbs. $107-130, 400-500 lbs. $109-125, 500-600 lbs. $95-104, 600-750 lbs. $83-86.50.

Slaughter cows: all grades $40-50.25; bulls $59-6.25; bred cows $600-740 per head, aged $575-600; young cows with calves $800-950 per pair, middleaged $700-825.
