Coleman Feeder Steer,
Heifer Prices Higher

COLEMAN —(TDA-March 16)— Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $2 higher, slaughter cows $2-3 higher, bulls $2 lower, stock cows and pairs steady to firm. Receipts totaled 1079 head.

Steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $109-118, few to $139, 400-500 lbs. $106-135, 500-600 lbs. $100-119, 600-700 lbs. $92-103, 700-800 lbs. $85-92.50; medium and large No. 2 400-500 lbs. $94-101, 500-600 lbs. $94-103, 600-700 lbs. $86-94, 700-800 lbs. $75-82.

Heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $117-122, few to $143, 300-400 lbs. $105-116, 500-600 lbs. $92-113, 600-700 lbs. $89-101, 700-800 lbs. $80-84.50; medium and large No. 2 400-600 lbs. $92-101, 600-700 lbs. $85-91.

Slaughter cows: breakers $43-47, boners $40.50-49.50, high dressing $50-54.50, lean $39-47; large 1-2 bulls 1500-2100 lbs. $58-63.50.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 700-1500 lbs. 2-8 months bred, $550-870 per head; medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 800-1700 lb. cows with 150-450 lb. calves $7l0-1050 per pair.
