HAMILTON —(March 22-23)— Slaughter kids and lambs sold higher
on Monday, nannies and ewes steady. Receipts totaled 3159 head. All
classes of cattle sold steady Tuesday on receipts of 315 head.
Sheep: lambs 40-60 lbs. $132-146, 60-80 lbs. $127-140, 80-100 lbs.
$122-135, over 100 lbs. $95-115; slaughter ewes $35-55; stock ewes
$70-110 per head.
Goats: slaughter kids 20-40 lbs. $120-145, 40-70 lbs. $132-155,
over 70 lbs. $110-144, nannies $52-77, billies $65-90; stock nanny
kids $135-185, nannies $70-150 per head, billies $100-200.
Steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $115-138, 300-400 lbs.
$112-131, 400-500 lbs. $105-120, 500-600 lbs. $95-114, 600-700 lbs.
$90-101, over 700 lbs. $85-92.
Heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $110-125, 300-400 lbs.
