Hamilton Kid, Lambs
Higher, Cattle Steady

HAMILTON —(March 22-23)— Slaughter kids and lambs sold higher on Monday, nannies and ewes steady. Receipts totaled 3159 head. All classes of cattle sold steady Tuesday on receipts of 315 head.

Sheep: lambs 40-60 lbs. $132-146, 60-80 lbs. $127-140, 80-100 lbs. $122-135, over 100 lbs. $95-115; slaughter ewes $35-55; stock ewes $70-110 per head.

Goats: slaughter kids 20-40 lbs. $120-145, 40-70 lbs. $132-155, over 70 lbs. $110-144, nannies $52-77, billies $65-90; stock nanny kids $135-185, nannies $70-150 per head, billies $100-200.

Steers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $115-138, 300-400 lbs. $112-131, 400-500 lbs. $105-120, 500-600 lbs. $95-114, 600-700 lbs. $90-101, over 700 lbs. $85-92.

Heifers: medium and large No. 1 200-300 lbs. $110-125, 300-400 lbs. $105-121, 400-500 lbs. $96-113, 500-600 lbs. $92-106, 600-700 lbs. $85-97, over 700 lbs. $80-90.

Slaughter cows: high dressing $43-46, low $34-37; high dressing bulls $59-65, low $50-54; choice bred stock cows $675-800 per head, medium $500-700, aged $450-550; choice cows with calves $900-1060 per pair, medium $700-800, aged $570-700.
