Abilene Feeder Calf
Prices $1-2 Higher

ABILENE —(TDA-April 20)— Feeder steer and heifer calves sold $1-2 higher, yearlings steady, slaughter cows and bulls steady to $2 lower, stock cows and pairs steady. Receipts totaled 1261 head.

Steers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $114-121, few to $133, 400-500 lbs. $111-128, 500-600 lbs. $102-116, 600-700 lbs. $92.50-109, 700-800 lbs. $86.50-98; medium and large No. 2 300-400 lbs. $105-112, 400-500 lbs. $101-108, 500-600 lbs. $96-104.50, 600-700 lbs. $87-95, 800-900 lbs. $75.50-81.

Heifers: medium and large No. 1 300-400 lbs. $111-119, few to $127.50, 400-500 lbs. $103-119, 500-600 lbs. $96-106, 600-700 lbs. $92-98, 700-800 lbs. $83.50-92; medium and large No. 2 300-400 lbs. $101-108, 400-500 lbs. $95-102, 500-600 lbs. $93-101, 600-700 lbs. $86-94.

Slaughter cows: breakers $45-53, boners $45-52.50, high dressing to $55.50, lean $41.50-52.50; yield grade 1-2 bulls 1300-2100 lbs. $58.50-67.

Stock cows: medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 900-1450 lbs. 2-8 months bred $510-875 per head; medium and large 1-2 young and middleaged 950-1400 lb. cows with 150-310 lb. calves $810-1100 per pair.
