Most Comanche Cattle
Prices Termed Higher

COMANCHE —(April 17)— Feeder steers and heifers sold steady to $3 higher, slaughter cows $3-5 higher, bulls $2-4 higher. Receipts totaled 541 head.

Steers: medium and large No. 1 under 300 lbs. $130-140, 300-400 lbs. $130-137, 400-500 lbs. $115-128, 500-600 lbs. $110-115, 600-700 lbs. $95-105, over 700 lbs. $88-92; medium and large No. 2 under 300 lbs. $120-130, 300-400 lbs. $115-125, 400-500 lbs. $104-110, 500-600 lbs. $100-105, 600-700 lbs. $90-94, over 700 lbs. $82-85.

Heifers: medium and large No. 1 under 300 lbs. $125-130, 300-400 lbs. $120-130, 400-500 lbs. $115-123, 500-600 lbs. $105-110, 600-700 lbs. $88-93, over 700 lbs. $80-87; medium and large No. 2 under 300 lbs. $110-120, 300-400 lbs. $115-120, 400-500 lbs. $108-112, 500-600 lbs. $95-100, 600-700 lbs. $78-80, over 700 lbs. $75-78.

Slaughter cows: utility $48-53.50, high dressing $57, cutter $46-52, canner $40-43; bulls $56-62, high dressing $65; good bred stock cows $750-860 per head, plain $560-630; good cows with calves $900-1130 per pair, plain $660-820.
