SURE-ENOUGH SPANISH
GOATS like
these pictured west of San Angelo
are harder to find every day. No, not
“hard to find” as in wily and brush-smart —
though they can certainly be that — but as in few and thin on the
ground. They
are quietly being bred out of existence by the Boer-based
bloodlines that
were scarce themselves only a little more than a decade
ago.
