Cattle For Sale By David, San Angelo, sold out of the Stiles, Texas area to a Shamrock, Texas buyer 50 heavy bred Angus heifers at $1135; from the Marshall, Texas area to a Putnam, Texas buyer 27 solidmouth and babytooth Corriente cow-calf pairs at $1050; and from the Lorena, Texas area to a Notrees, Texas buyer 75 young Angus Plus and Brangus pairs at $1750.

 

JCO Livestock LP, Montalba, Texas, bought out of the Greenville, Texas area two loads of No. 1 Okie and crossbred steers for June delivery to weigh 750 pounds at $132.50 f.o.b.; out of the Alto, Texas area three loads of No. 1-1 crossbred steers weighing 725 for immediate delivery to Western Kansas for $140.75 delivered.

 

     USDA reports 6797 head of feeder cattle selling direct off Colorado range including, for October delivery 700 medium and large No. 1 steers to weigh 750 pounds at $136 delivered and 435 similar steers to weigh 775 at $131.40 f.o.b.; for September 650 steers to weigh 775 at $138.50 delivered; for August 150 steers to weigh 800 at $140 delivered; for July 120 heifers to weigh 750 at $127 delivered; for June 120 heifers to weigh 750 at $126 and 150 heifers to weigh 800 at $133, both delivered; for May 116 steers to weigh 825 at $128 f.o.b., 390 steers to weigh 800 at $139 delivered, 335 steers to weigh 950 at $134 delivered, 247 heifers to weigh 760 at $123.50 f.o.b., 130 heifers to weigh 730 at $131 delivered, and 308 heifers to weigh 850 at $131 delivered; for April and May 150 heifers to weigh 800 at $123.50 delivered; for current delivery 160 steers weighing 850-875 at $128-128.50 delivered, 345 heifers weighing 725 at $136 f.o.b., 100 heifers weighing 675 at $132 delivered, and 182 heifers weighing 750 at $127-136.13 delivered.

 

     Northwest direct feeder cattle trade as confirmed by USDA totaled 5500 head, including 500 medium and large No. 1 steers to weigh 875 pounds at $133 f.o.b. and 1100 similar heifers to weigh 850 at $127-129 delivered, both for August and September; for July and August 450 heifers to weigh 835 at $128 and 250 heifers to weigh 850 at $125.50, both delivered prices; for June and July 450 heifers to weigh 825 at $125 delivered; for current delivery 200 steers weighing 590 at $164.50 f.o.b., 100 steers weighing 715 at $143.50 f.o.b., 130 steers weighing 850 at $133.75 f.o.b., 100 steers weighing 750 at $135 delivered, 210 steers weighing 820 at $131.50 delivered, 300 heifers weighing 760-775 at $124-128 f.o.b., 260 heifers weighing 700-730 at $126.50-130 delivered, and 200 heifers weighing 850 at $125 delivered.

 

     USDA reports 9162 head of feeder cattle selling direct in Oklahoma, mostly f.o.b. basis, including 210 medium and large No. 1 heifers to weigh 700 pounds at $129.25 for November delivery; for September 170 heifers to weigh 575 at $142.65 and 840 heifers to weigh 700 at $129.15-129.65; for August 300 steers to weigh 800 at $134.45; for July 210 steers to weigh 775 at $140.91, 465 steers to weigh 825 at $133.85 and 625 heifers to weigh 700 at $126.25-131; for June 350 steers to weigh 700 at $140.25; for current delivery 1839 steers weighing 800-845 at $132.50-136.34.

 

     Wyoming and Nebraska feeder cattle trade by USDA count came to 2501 head, all f.o.b., including 1250 medium and large No. 1 heifers to weigh 800 pounds at $119.79 for May delivery; for current delivery 1491 similar heifers weighing 750 at $134.50-135.26, and 800 heifers weighing 735 at $137.
