Both fat and feeder lambs enjoyed good demand and generally steady to higher prices across most of the country this week. Slaughter ewes ranged from steady to weak.

Fed Cattle In Waiting Game As Packers Bid Lower Again

Stocker calves sold steady to $4 lower at Mason and San Saba auctions last week, feeder steers $3-4 lower, heifers steady to strong, slaughter cows and bulls steady to $3 higher, stock cows and pairs steady.

Six aged Brangus herd bulls at the Big Elm herd dispersal sale here averaged $1238 per head, seven three year-old commercial bulls made $1007, 29 two year-old commercial bulls averaged $1056, and 28 yearlings brought $562.
