Special Prices Higher

JUNCTION —(Nov. 1)— Feeder steers and heifers sold mostly steady in the special High Dollar calf and yearling sale at Junction Stockyards, choice heavyweight steers strong, heifers $1-2 higher. Receipts totaled 807 head.

Steers:

Pen of five: 1. Stroman Ranch, Del Rio, nine Beefmaster, 705 lbs. $55.20; 2. Little Paint Creek Ranch, Telegraph, nine Simmental cross, 694 lbs. $55.70; 3. Weems Farm, Boerne, six Brangus, 584 lbs. $58.

Pen of 10: 1. Little Paint Creek Ranch, 13 Simmental cross, 770 lbs. $55.75; 2. Little Paint Creek, 11 Simmental cross, 661 lbs. $56.50; 3. Lanny Leinweber, Mountain Home, 12 black whiteface, 650 lbs. $56.50.

Heifers:

Pen of five calves: 1. Little Paint Creek Ranch, eight Simmental cross, 713 lbs. $52.25; 2. Little Paint Creek Ranch, six Simmental cross, 603 lbs. $53.50; 3. Eagle Well Ranch, Junction, seven Brangus, 546 lbs. $58.50.

Pen of five yearlings: 1. Bobby Davis, Junction, seven crossbred, 658 lbs. $55; 2. Bobby Davis, seven crossbred, 659 lbs. $53.75.

Pen of 10 calves: 1. Saline Ranch, London, 13 Simmental cross, 572 lbs. $54; 2. Bill Baker, Rocksprings, 14 Angus, 483 lbs. $58.
