Billy Etbauer Sidelined Now,
Plans To Compete At Finals

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Billy Etbauer, who leads the world saddle bronc riding standings with $123,953, pulled a muscle in his lower back and has been advised not to compete for the remainder of the season. The 1992 PRCA world champion, however, says he plans to compete at the $3.2 National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

Roper Herbert Theriot, Poplarville, Miss., still leads the all-around standings with $115,747 in earnings to date. He is followed by Chad Klein, Jackson, La., with $91,552; Roy Cooper, Childress, Texas, $86,685; Brent Lewis, Eloy, Ariz., $85,624; and Joe Beaver, Huntsville, Texas, $83,075.
